we begin tonight on a somber note involving one of the most decorated and well known generals had in recent times. he passed away at the age of 78. he led the international coalition that drove saddam hussain's forces out of kuwait in 1941. he was known as a storm iin' norman. he died of complications from pneumonia. former president george h. w. bush made a statement that had he mourns the loss. that statement was issued through his office as he remains hospitalized in houston. he has bronchitis that spawned a stubborn fever. the chief of staff told the associated press the president
